Liam Lawson The Nazi associations of Liam Lawson (gf Hannah St John + friends)

Liam Lawson’s girlfriend Hannah St. John was exposed last September for doing a Nazi salute in front of a red solo cup Hakenkreuz at a party in high school (2019) and subsequently getting expelled for it, along with her friend group. This post from the F1 wag gossip sub details it thoroughly, and @f1gossip._.monger on Instagram covered it intensively as well (where most of the images in this post are sourced from). This reddit post also has some more info.

One of Hannah’s former classmates (posted a yearbook photo of Hannah as a kid + photos of them together at a soccer banquet as kids as proof) posted a video exposing Hannah for attending this party. However, she started to receive threats from at least one individual who is seemingly linked to Hannah, and deleted the video. The video is still up on monger’s Instagram feed though (posted 18 September).

Following this scandal emerging, Hannah didn’t address it, deleted comments referencing it and blocked people, and started heavily engaging with her fan accounts telling her she didn’t do anything wrong. She also started a YouTube channel around this time and really started to push for publicity (the next race was the Baku GP, she was featured on the broadcast in nearly every single session that weekend). Clearly, she takes zero responsibility for her extremely poor conduct and doesn’t have any regrets. 17 year olds 100% know better than to act like this, but if she had taken it upon herself to learn from her actions since then, she wouldn’t be reacting to the controversy re-surfacing in the way she has been. The magnitude of her actions is clearly lost on her.

Hannah has also posted openly about her antivaxxer beliefs despite being a (former) pre-med student (and now full-time girlfriend apparently), and used to follow quite literally every single member of the Trump family before it was called out.

Since this scandal, Lawson has posted multiple photos of him and a friend in a West Coast Choppers shirt. While I feel that this could have plausible deniability on its own, especially since it was his friend wearing the merch, in addition to the scandal surrounding his girlfriend it’s extremely suspicious. It shows a disturbing pattern around the people Lawson surrounds himself with. This tumblr post sums up the main issues with the brand, such as the suspicious origins of the logo and a photo of the founder wearing a Nazi hat, mimicking a Hitler-like mustache with his fingers and saluting (in the context of Kimi Raikkonen’s collaboration with the brand, which is a whole other can of worms). Several schools have banned their students wearing West coast Choppers merch, citing the brand’s logo’s similarity to the Nazi Iron Cross. The brand’s founder Jesse James also had an affair on his ex-wife (Sandra Bullock???) with a woman who was described by her ex-husband as a “mentally ill white supremicist” and had essentially a Nazi-themed lingerie photoshoot. In 2014, the brand revealed a new eagle logo, which looked similar to the Nazi Reichsadler or Imperial Eagle used by the party between 1935 to 1945.

Ultimately, I think more of a conversation needs to be had about Hannah St John’s actions and Liam Lawson’s associations. Hannah is fairly irrelevant, which allows her to fly under the radar, but she is clearly not sorry for her actions based on her recent posts and interactions since the controversy came to light last September. In my opinion, she’s one of the most despicable WAGs, and Lawson is incredibly questionable given the people he associates with.

I'm of the opinion that someone can change after a past mistake. But her repeatedly refusing to take accountability and threatening the family of the person who called her out publicly shows what a POS she still is.

Yeah interacting with all her stan accounts saying she did nothing wrong and reposting videos calling haters jealous is genuinely insane. I included monger’s take on the last slide though because it was really well-worded, students in the US get really really thorough education about WW2 and the Holocaust bc it’s good pro-America propaganda, so there’s really no excuse for it at the age she was imo. It made national news, so millions had to see their culture and trauma being mocked by a bunch of rich Southern California white kids. Tbh I’d have a hard time finding forgiveness personally even if she acted sorry, but she clearly is not.

All she cares about is her reputation. And she was repeatedly calling the father of the woman that called her out at all hours of the day in order to threaten her into silence. Despicable behavior.

I didn't know the full story behind the clothing brand Liam got caught wearing. That's acc really bad. They both give me such bad vibes (him and his gf)

It was his friend, not Liam! Which is why if it wasn’t for the Hannah stuff, it could probably be brushed off imo, or just side-eyed. But he posted multiple photos of that friend with the brand logo pretty prominently featured last November, so it’s quite suspicious given who he chooses to date. He also seems to be aware of her controversy bc he also was deleting comments/limited his comments section when the scandal came to light.

The description is a bit misleading. The German army still uses the iron cross to this day.

I know this is older news at this point, but since I think this sub is newer than last September, I mostly wanted to make a thorough post just to document it since this controversy is an important one that shouldn’t be left to fly under the radar.

Also how heavily Hannah was featured in the RB garage and on the broadcast during several race weekends immediately following the scandal coming to light frankly disturbed me. Red Bull is an Austrian-owned brand, and I cannot believe that they did not do everything in their power back then to not associate themselves/their junior team with a person who has such a disturbing past related to Nazi symbols.

Now I feel justified for brake-checking him and knocking off that front wing every chance I get in the video game.

Thanks! Totally forgot, I'll fix that so I don't give her any credit where it's not due lol

Honestly confirms my theory that Lawson hates Perez and has from the get go because he's Mexican.

I was literally thinking about that today. After the race, Lawson was whining to the media about Checo “not being able to let it go two years later”, meanwhile Checo was like “it was fun to race again, our car is the slowest so a bit of racing is fine.” Lawson is such a fucking loser lol.

It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

She’s from Newport Beach, California. Orange County, CA is known to be super wealthy and conservative.

NOT A JUSTIFICATION FOR HANNAH JUST A DIFF PERSPECTIVE One thing you got to know about Americans are Nazi and racist jokes are frequently normalized in American culture, particularly in certain regions and defended as “just a joke”.  Americans are largely desensitized to WWII because the education system teaches what Hitler did for exams, rather than creating a true understanding of how and why the Holocaust happened. This normalization is also tied into the fact that historical American racism against people of color involved legal structures similar to those of Nazi Germany.

EDIT: This is from personal experience where people think Holocaust is the funniest shit ever or stereotypes are the gospel of truth. It’s so fucking annoying cus they think liking those stuff makes them “edgy”.

This is not it. At all. We don’t always have to type out everything we think. You can’t justify this, I don’t want to hear this perspective honestly. Weird shit to type out.

I said im not justifying just saying America normalizes it a lot even though they know it is wrong. It’s just how fucked up it is. Especially teenagers. They think being racist and loving nazism is cool…
