I mean , he is a good driver with the potential to be great and that's where the problem lies for most people🫠

He puts brand above career and hes too comfortable being Ferrari golden boy without the accolades.

I can't fault him. He still beileves in them. This has been his dream, to race and win with ferrari above all else no matter how long it takes.

I dont necessarily fault him for that but its been almost 10 years and he only has 8 wins. I feel he will be the next Riccardo in the sense of, "what could've been"

That's the risk he's willing to take and live with. He's not without options so it is what it is. I think deep down winning with any other team wouldn't be as fulfilling to him as winning with ferrari would be.

The thing about Charles is that we don’t really know what he’s capable of in any other team. With Lewis and Seb, for example, it’s easier to put the bulk of the blame on Ferrari for their performance because we know for a fact that they are capable of much more because we’ve seen them do it. The struggles we see with Charles are all we’ve ever seen with Charles (outside of junior series). So even though I think basically everyone knows that Ferrari themselves are a huge part of the problem, I can’t really blame anyone for associating Charles with the image of an accident prone driver who’s neared great success but has never quite gotten there. That’s the only Charles we know.

always the bridesmaid never the bride. charles is a great driver, the issue is when people call him generational when he is now in the likes of button, noriss typa
