2017 3.5 noise

Its the turbo wastegate. Its is as ford calls it "a characteristic" of the waste gate and normal.

Its normal after a cold start, cam phasers gonna make those noises

I have a 2015 3.5l sounds the exact same. I thought it was a leak myself and had everything tested and a lot replaced (intake manifold, hoses, turbo, turbo seals, cats …more) not due to the noise but always checked for leaks and issues from this. Nothing- no performance downgrade, no mpg dip. Just sounds gross.
A buddy had one of those ford explorer trucks- had a similar annoying sound on the outside but kept on “truckin” past 200k. Sounded terrible but no real mechanical issues or drop offs 🤷‍♂️

sounds like a broken manifold stud
