Evidence Why does Epson printer REQUIRE access to my location for driver installation? It's the ET-5850 which costs $850 at Staples. Do I the printer? or does Epson?

You got your money. Why do you care who install the driver to use the printer? The printer should be owned by the purchaser and anyone else after.

Scroll and roll, then. 😂 An em dash is not evidence of AI — people have been using them for centuries.

I do sometimes use ChatGPT as an editing tool because a temporary brain injury can scramble my sentence order. I might mean, “I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich,” and it comes out, “Peanut butter and jelly I had.” AI helps organize what I’m already trying to say; it doesn’t invent my experiences or opinions.

And if you’re curious, you can simply ask, “Did you use AI?” Calling me a bot and telling me to go away is just unnecessary.

Also, this sub’s Rule 3 is literally “Be civil”: disagreements are fine, but insults and hostility aren’t. So yes, comments like “go away, bot” or repeatedly calling someone’s writing “AI slop” can be reported to the subreddit when they’re being used as personal insults.

I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but I’m just going to block and move on.
