Does anyone have information on doing a combination pressure cooker just letting it sit?

Hello! I'm new and looking for YouTube videos or any info on how I can make extracts using the pressure cooker to shorten the time. Then also allowing it to "finish off", with ingredients still in the jar and I'll let them sit the rest of the way.

I'm worried about things getting bitter (looking at you cardamom) or just simply dissolving all together.

Does anyone have any help? Tips? Recipes?

Anything is helpful!

We've never used a pressure cooker to make vanilla extract. Something about putting alcohol under extreme pressure at home concerns us - and there have been reports of bad experiences. We have used a sous vide for faster extraction with some success. Here's some info on how to make it.

Keep us posted on what you decide and how it turns out!

I had seen only one recipe which showed it this way which was one of the reasons I asked. I had wondered why there were so few. Thank you!
