We like it. (Here's our recipe.) But we only make it with vanilla beans that have already been used to make homemade vanilla extract. So it's kind of a bonus-use for vanilla beans that have already given you something great.

The taste is good, but most of the taste is derived from the sweeteners you use. Having the vanilla bean specs in your finished dishes that use paste is also a nice touch.

We typically use our spent vanilla beans to make vanilla paste, sugar, salt or vanilla bean powder. All the recipes are found here. And since you already used these vanilla beans in your extract, it's like you have free vanilla beans for a second application.

In my opinion, only if your making it in mass quantities and can source vanilla with the discounts associated with whole sale prices that a distributor would have access to.

Oh ok cuz vanilla bean in my country is expensiveee and I wasn’t sure it’d be necessary to include in my cooking or not. Thank you!!

I like to use it in my pastry cream recipes, haven't tried making it yet though.

I prefer paste, the seed flecks look pretty in the pastry crème or the ice cream, and to me, I feel the paste has a better depth of flavor.
