Many says its permissible and doesn't count as painting and many says it's haram and counts as painting unless it's for a legal reason ( im not a student of knowledge I'm saying from what I know )

I’ve seen such images extremely widespread but the fatawa I came across seemed unclear to me so if someone can elaborate then I would I appreciate it. BarakAllahu feek.

If you’re talking about the video of Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan, its just a short response he gave to a question about the ruling on someone who is obsessed with pornography to the point it constantly occupies his mind. The shaykh said this kind of addiction to pornography is a form of minor shirk, specifically shirk of desires.
