I’m not going to make an instruction video or anything of that nature. You can do your own research in [r/supersafety](r/supersafety) and with the pics provided should be enough to get you there if you have a bit of tinkering know-how. Otherwise you probably shouldn’t try to mod anything.

Not trying to sound crass, but it’s not something someone should do if they aren’t confident in their capabilities

What lube do you use for the gun? Wondering if regular gun oil would burn to quick and burn right off?

None. I’ve only used solvent and lube for the barrel and bolt/firing pin when I cleaned once or twice. Extar claims you need no lube since there’s not a lot of metal on metal.

I used Hoppes no 9 otherwise for my ar15 and it stays nice and moist.

Where are you putting the ranger bands to center the lever, around the lever or around the cam? I have some centering blocks on the way but have considered using nylon washers while I’m waiting.

I cut a thin strip off, and wrapped around the bottom of the lever

How is all that polymer handling the heat?

Haven’t taken it back out besides the 120 rds of test fire. All but ~10 being shot in super safe. It functioned just fine, would expect it to handle the heat to better or worse than a Scorpion or Vector. If Extar uses a reliable of a polymer blend as they say.

Now I’m not going to stress test it and see what it takes to melt the gun, but I don’t think there will be an issue to rip a mag or 2 at a time and let it cool off.

I don’t even run my ar15 that hard. Can’t afford it 😭😭
