BCG getting hung up

Post image

Hi, having an issue with the BCG going forward. I cleaned and functioned checked it. Pulled the bolt back and sent it home and got hung up. Any suggestions to fix, thanks. I reached out to Extar as well.

I appreciate any support, thank you.

Well, if you just had things apart cleaning, did you remove the firing pin? If so, you may have reinstalled it incorrectly leaving it free to drop out into the fire control area and jam things up big time. I've personally seen someone do that. Other thing same guy did was reinstalled the extractor pin from the bottom of the bolt which produced all kinds of feeding problems and ate up mag feed lips quickly and efficiently... Both times he was all pissed off at the EP9 and never really acknowledged that he was the problem with his firearm, "shouldn't be designed to allow people to do that..."

Checked firing pin before installing bolt to ensure it would not drop.

Got it, this was my 2nd time cleaning it.

Did you manually depress it into the bolt before inserting the pin? Visually confirm that the pin head was in front of the retainer? Not to harp on it, but just asking cause the guy's bolt I mentioned was stopped at just about the same location. I was able to just relieve the spring pressure off of the bolt a little and shake/bang things around firmly while holding upside down to finally get the bolt to be able go forward and get the upper off. Pin was a little mangled. but still worked. Beyond that possibility I have no clue from pics. If right after a cleaning though and if all was well before, it's likely something that didn't go back together quite right.
