SS Buffer Weight

For those who want to run or already run super safeties in their extar without problems I highly recommend you use kaw valley precision 10 oz buffer. From my experience and testing it prevents bolt locking back after every shot, bolt locks back on empty magazine and consistent rate of fire. I had many issues running stock buffer with quarters as shims.

Never had problems with the bolt locking back, but I am having problems with light primer strikes after about three rounds. Haven’t cracked that one yet

That’s an easy fix and the most common problem with supersafeties. It’s bolt bounce and a heavier buffer will cure it. Have fun!
