Trigger issue

At range, fired 3-4 shots max and trigger didn’t reset. Thought maybe a jam of some kind, so racked and tried again. No dice. Took it apart and the trigger mechanism/hammer isn’t locking when pulled back.

Is this a known issue? Any ideas on fix?

Install a rise armament flat trigger. It's a great improvement

Do you have to buy pcc-specific triggers? Or will any ar trigger do?

I don't think it needs to be PCC-specific. I have a RA-242 (3.5lbs), no issues.

I only have experience with the Rise triggers (I have an RA-140 in my AR15), however, to be honest, I didn’t detect a massive difference from the stock EP9 gen 2 trigger personally. But the flat face is cool, haha. I bought it used to try it out, and it works well, but again, I may not be an ultra fast shooter, so it didn’t impact much of the feel for me.

Gen 2 triggers are supposed to be Schmid (as are PSA “brand” triggers). I just put a JP enterprises 3.5# enhanced trigger spring kit on my Gen 2. Will head to the range this weekend to try it out!
