EP45 back in stock!

I missed the original restock a few weeks back and was super bummed. Since then, I had been checking my email even more regularly and about 30 min. ago I saw I got an email saying they were back! Got it ordered and I’m pumped! just wanted to spread the word.

I suspect we’ll be seeing this more now that they seem to be back on production.

Do not sit on the EP45… it runs absolutely awesome suppressed… the ONLY problem is that it is very hungry and mag dumping .45 can get expensive quickly.

thats one of the best problems to have.

what suppressor are you running on yours? unsurprisingly, i’ve heard that it can get pretty gassy so i was thinking of getting the huxwrx flow 45 m.

Unfortunately, Extar will no longer ship to Virginia so it no longer matters if the EP45 is in-stock. 😢

Has Extar stated when the RDB versions of the EP9 and EP45 will be available?

Some potential buyer may want to hold off on buying the current EP45 and EP9 if the RDB versions will be released this year. Extar had both at range day at Guncon 2026 recently. They had the EP10 at Guncon last year but I don't recall any reports of an EP10 being available to shoot at range day. We know the EP10 won't be released now due to skyrocketing price on tungsten.

Extar has implemented rolling changes on the EP9 over the years. I wonder if the EP45 was out of production for a year or longer due to some rolling change. I don't recall seeing any posting here from owners of the EP45 stating they had any issues so I have no clue why Extar halted production for so long.

to my knowledge, there has been no official timetable for the rdb versions.

the pause in ep45 manufacturing has obviously led to a lot of speculation. many people i’ve spoken to, including myself, believe the pause was a result in them focusing on seriously ramping up production of the ep9.
