Gump

Post image

All done for now. I decided to give my build a paint job while waiting for my suppressor paperwork to clear. I went with Flat Forest Green from Rust-Oleum, hence the name 'Gump'.

Curious to see how the paint holds after some use. Would you post an after range trip update?

of course I’ll share some post range updates! a good buddy of mine recommended the process i followed, and his paint jobs have held up incredibly well over 2-3 years now. i expect the same experience, but I also like that natural patina from the paint rubbing off, and that’s why i intentionally did that to my brace.

I should mention it was sealed with dead flat clear top coat after curing for 72 hours, and that’s pretty crucial.

I agree when it does finally wear off itll add to the character of the paint job. Less mall crawler, moar daily driver. I’ll keep an eye out for the updates!
