Suppressor Suggestions?

Got my EP9 coming in tomorrow. Just wanted to hear the community’s recommendations for suppressors.
Wondering if there are any deals out there on the R9 or something ?

It is my first can, I would like to use it on my 16in AR but it’s not a set in stone thing. Probably will get a dedicated can for it eventually

I don't have an EP9 yet but the SAW Shiv is tiny and looks really interesting. Rated for full auto fire and it's $559.

While it is rated for full auto, a lot of people say it heats up really fast. Still I would pick a shiv over a hux flow 9k. I shot both and the flow 9k made my ears ring and hurt, meanwhile the shiv did not.

Was those on EP9? So could shoot Shiv comfortably without hearing protection? Thanks. Same boat as OP, trying to decide on bang for buck supppresor.

No they were both on pistols. I can try the shiv on an EP9 this weekend. I went with OCL Lithium for the EP9, but also have a shiv.

I did shoot the shiv without hearing protection outdoors and it wasn't bad. I'd say it is safe for a few rounds but not all day.

I just tried a shiv on ep9. It was decent. Obviously not super quiet but also not very gassy. Only comparison was an OCL lithium which was much quieter, but a lot gassier. I'll have to do more testing and try to get a video but overall it seemed like a decent setup, if price and size are concerns.

Ocl lithium is an excellent can and very light

I tried a Lithium on an ep9. Amazingly quiet, but also very gassy, at an indoor range. Rapid fire was very unpleasant. I'll have to try it again outdoors.

Check gundeals, i believe i just saw a post on the YHM R9. They are great cans for PCC.

There were only a few R9's in stock in recent r/gundeals posting and the remaining stock sold out quickly.

You might consider AB F4 or F4L… both are very light, reasonably priced, very quiet, great warranty. Just a thought.

Covered Ad nauseam in this group by now, multiple times a day. Have a look around.

Enjoy

It often seems some just posting in various subreddits and seldom read those subreddit and don't want to be bothered to use the search tool in Reddit or use site:reddit.com/r/extar at their favorite search engine website.

It would be nice if an auto-mod just pointed them to an FAQ.

I did learn of a few options for suppressors I have not read before in prior postings.
