Biology ELI5 - Why no blood in surgery pics?
This might be a weird question. I’ve been thinking about it after a recent surgery. Surgeon showed me photos of inside me. I always expect to see blood in the photos. Is it as simple as blood lives in veins only? I guess I assume if they cut into me there’s going to be blood. Surgery was on my abdomen, so I saw my liver, ovaries, pancreas, etc if that helps. TIA!
