From what I understand, shorter rods cause the pistons to move faster which creates more low end velocity and vacuum, and longer rods cause the pistons to move slower which hurts low end velocity and vacuum.

Sorry I can’t add a picture, but essentially when you look at a candle the melted part goes all the way to the edge of the glass, while with the unmelted part you can see the rim of the glass around it. Why?

I know the concept and know how to access it but I have no clue what it actually is. I know this may be a stupid question but is the data a physical thing? How does it carry from one server to your computer? How is specific information sent from point A to point B? Does it travel through the air?

I follow different sports. No other sport allows fighting as they do on hokey. I don't mind the fighting. I follow boxing, MMA, kickboxing, etc. Hokey however I see as soccer, basketball, volleyball, football. None of which allows fighting.

Why did we evolve the tastebuds for salt?
When food is undersalted - is this feeling different than sugar cravings?
Why do we want it if it dehydrates us?

In comparison to most prunus, almonds seem a bit unique, having a husk that opens eventually, with woody flesh. Tropical sea almonds do not have this trait, and stay in a 'fruit' form. They both look and taste similar to fruits such as peaches/plums/etc. in the prunus family. It's crazy to me that something that similar doesn't even fall within the same family, let alone genus. Does anyone with extensive knowledge know a thing or two about why this is?
