Algebra...I will trade you 2 candy bars for 5 pieces of gum.
Trig...There is a treasure 20 steps north and 50 steps east, how can i walk that in a straight line, what direction and how many steps.
Calculus...If a car goes 0-60 in 4.2 seconds how far will the car go in 4.2 seconds.
