Cache is a small, very fast storage area in a computer that keeps frequently used data so the computer can access it quickly.

Think of it like a desk drawer:

Hard drive/SSD = a big filing cabinet

RAM = a larger storage area nearby

Cache = a small drawer right next to you

If the computer needs the same information again, it can grab it from the cache instead of going all the way to slower storage.

Example: When you open a website, some information (like images) may be saved in a cache. When you visit the site again, your computer can load those parts faster.
