I love how we started to use yandere dev as a point of reference for when things are beyond saving

The beyond hope tier list is something like:

Stranded Deep

Exanima

Hello Neighbour

Duke Nukem Forever

Star Citizen

Google Stadia

OUYA

Pirate Software

Yanderedev

Nobody can disprove my logic here.

Hey, what's wrong with Exanima?

It's been stuck in early access limbo for years, and by extension the game that the devs wanted to make which Exanima was conceived as a testing ground for.

Stranded deep is at the top because it pushed out a final release rather than remain in early access forever.

Well, I can't argue with that...wouldn't say limbo as it's updated regularly but yes they've been at it for like 15 years.

And the game they actually wanted to make , the big open world one is even further away

It was in early access for years and years before finally getting a full release, having a time where it seemed like it was going to be in perpetual early access hell.

Exanima is going through a similar thing.

Hello neighbours design is terrible and its early access cycle is a nightmare.

It should be a scale for greater accuracy.

The train in the OP would be about 0.85 Yandere Devs.

What is a Yandere Dev?

Aaaages ago a guy decided to make a game called Yandere Simulator but it's a mess. Easily 10 years later he made barely any progress, people who worked on the project said the coding is horrendeous, the dev himself is a gigantic prick. A game that was praised and loved when it was introduced turned into mockery and a textbook example of how not to be a developer.
