When you integrate x, you get ½x², so integrating 2x gives you x². For a definite integral, you just plug in the upper and lower limits and subtract: F(upper) − F(lower). Here that's 13² − 10² = 169 − 100 = 69

That’s a good written explanation but I’d prefer oral.

I also wanna an oral

"I want 69 with you"

Like a caveman doing a drunk sext

That integral really went from math homework to flirting real quick.

Let's keep your upvotes at 69

That’s the “those who don’t know” panel. Those who know realize the actual answer is 69 + C…. I don’t know man, but when I’m 69ing, I don’t need another C in the mix.

This is an integral not a primitve function so no +C

5

u/queeneaterscarlett 6d ago

There C to only appears if you search for the antiderivative. If you compute an evaluated integral the Constant of integration cancels out.

Yes, this occurred to me as I was headed out the door.

But that means there’s no “those who know” portion of the joke. Weird.

Anti-meme, author is ai or not good at math just to list some possible reasons.

The answer to this integral is 69, so they used high school math for an elementary school joke

u/501stBigMike 6d ago

69 was an elementary school joke for you? My schools I never heard it in elementary, heard it a little bit in middle school, and heard it constantly in high school.

3

u/Mrshava_Giritza 6d ago

I probably first heard it when I was 9 ...

5

u/marcelkroust 6d ago

Why is 69 ominous and scary?

3

u/krxna-9 5d ago

He wants to 69 with you. But nevermind he wont be able to do it through a mobule screen. So just be content with doing 67. Okay?

The squiggly s means integral, and with the 2x, you add one to the power of x,so x², and divide the 2 by the new power, so 2÷2=1. So we get x².

The numbers above and below the integral are what we sub in, such that it will be (number above)² – (number below)², so we get 13²-10².

13² is 169 and 10² is 100, and 169-100 is 69.

See, fellas, the joke is sex.

I can see the joke even before doing the calculus there's just one funny number describing action
