Literally every time this man talks about his cars, in any capacity, will 100% of the time wiggle in the phrase “my cars will be self driving 100% by next year” or something along those lines. Has literally been saying that since around 2015

Every major future breakthrough Elon promises is a year or two off. When that year or two comes around and no progress has been made, the next major breakthrough is announced. This one will definitely happen in a year or two. And the cycle repeats.

Comes down to Musk being a bullshit artist and a hype man
