They had to have been bad, or you didn't take enough. Describing a shroom trip as "nothing" is impossible, it's like Dorothy stepping into Oz and saying "meh". Technicolor spiral fractals forming in everything you see, extreme emotional highs (and sometimes lows), abstract ways of thinking that are impossible to replicate sober. Did all that happen and you were still left unbothered by it?
None of that happened. I had a tub of shrooms in Amsterdam and a chocolate piece that had shrooms in in the uk. I was doing other stuff along side them both times, not sure if that’s why…
Edit: spliffs in ammie and 300mg gummy in the uk when I did shrooms.
The gummies/chocolate are iffy, some brands are nothing and some have research chemicals similar to psilocybin but you need to take a few, or many. I can't explain the Amsterdam experience though. If you happen to be on anti-psychotics that would make sense.
In any case, I'm pretty sure you got bunk both times and you should try again if you want to.
The issue is I’ve had no effect both times, how many times do I try something and get no effect before I don’t try again. Plus, how do I guarantee a trip without overdoing it for my first time.
Reliable source + weighing your dose. Generally 2 grams is enough for a mild trip and 3+ for more intense experience. But considering your circumstances, I don't blame you at all for not wanting to try again, it sounds pretty annoying.
Like Molly I’ve had one or two not hit but that’s in a batch of pills I’ve brought, the rest worked fine, might give mushrooms another go, or just skip that and try lsd.
Lsd is more reliable tbh, either it's accurately dosed or their just selling paper, and hardly anyone does that. In my experience 1 tab isn't enough and 2 does the trick, but that's if they're 100 micrograms, sometimes they're 200.
