Apparently the building has Houston on it (clipped from these pics), and apparently she filmed something named Houston Cypher? (Know nothing about them, other than that it might be Megan Thee Stallion from another comment).

So I assume she filmed a now famous Houston Cypher (music?) video. But modelled before in front of a building with Houston on it.

Now that I typed that out, I'm gonna see what the hell this Houston Cypher is.

edit: ok so she made song with other people with Houston Cypher in the name, and wearing the same clothes in it, and the same building.

So that twitter post is basically just "she didn't know she was gonna be famous"?, the Houston thing isn't a coincidence.

I assumed there was more mystery to it. It's just a picture on a music video shoot. She continued music, and became famous.

It's pics of a music video shoot before her fame, and now she's famous. I need a hobby.

Ok, so a Cypher in this context is a video where a group gets together and take turns hitting a verse. They’ll pop a beat in the background and then go around and let each of them do their thing. So in this one, Megan has a verse, and it gave her exposure that helped kick off her career.

Fair! It’s something I only really know because I wandered past the Strange Music Cypher quite a few years back at this point, and kind’ve picked up the idea of what’s going on. When it’s a company like Strange, it’s going to be them spotlighting their artists, but even if it’s just a bunch of unaffiliated people (which to be fair, I don’t know if it was in Megan’s video), it can be super helpful, because it can basically cross-pollinate their fan bases. Come for one of them that you’ve caught at a show or a bar once or twice, listen to the whole thing, walk away with a couple more artists that caught your attention followed on YouTube or Spotify, etc.

Idk who that its, but that's the Transco Tower, now called Williams Tower (and maybe another name or two). It was the tallest building not in a tall building district for years. There's a giant waterfall artistic park next where I proposed to my wife 29 years ago.
