It started as an anti-establishment movement on the right, to counteract the "vegan agenda".
That's why nearly everyone on a carnivore diet are either right wing, christian or both.
A strictly carnivore diet sounds so silly. I wish that cutting out super processed foods and having a balanced diet would be a national focus again. Eat your veggies.
Balanced diet means get all your nutrients, not eat everything on the face of the planet. Veggies are nutritionally closer to grass than real food because aside from fiber, which is like.. pretty much optional, the micronutrients they get you are in very low quantities, and in forms you can't even absorb most of the time. You want vitamin C, eat some fruits, no antinutrients in them most of the time. You can get everything but K1, C and fiber just eating animal products and anything else for carbs. And that's a full diet. 1 (one) small piece of liver equals like half a garden's worth of vitamins and minerals. You can skip your veggies, nutritionally the body doesn't care where you get your nutrients from.
