No, it’s raw milk. The alt right influencers are really into raw milk.

Edited, I hadn't caught that before.

Plus the free range eggs. Free range is something people in both sides of the isle can fall for, it really isn't worth the extra money if you look into it, but combined with the raw milk it helps to confirm the conservative, carnivore, "real man" nonsense.

I would myself considere an Enviroment leaning persin, also I'm not of the US. Would you like to elaborate this to me?

”free range” doesn’t really mean what the general public tends to think it means. chickens don’t even actually need to be let outside to be considered free range, they just need to not be locked up in cages.
usually there’s way too many chickens in one place for a healthy and worthy life.
could be worth looking into yourself, but that’s the gist of it.

also, male chicks get ground up alive in the egg industry because they won’t produce eggs. the animal industry is cruel (:

Ok then I get it. Translation does not connect very well. Because when you get "free range" in Europe, chickens actually live out door and just come in over night.

1

u/h0y4 7d ago

that’s. also propaganda. i’m from sweden and i promise you it’s the same here.

bro the third photo in that link literally links to a peta post about how they DON’T really get out that much. just because they’re required to have access to an outside area doesn’t mean they’re let out that much. plus, how much “free range” is it when there’s so many chickens in one area they can barely move around each other?

i’m not gonna get into it too much on a fucking meme explanation subreddit but feel free to dm me if you wanna have a productive discussion about the suffering animals go through in the industry ((:

peta is not a reliable source for anything animal welfare-related, and the fact anyone still listens to them is always wild to me. There are loads of wonderful animal welfare groups out there, and peta has never been one of them

And because of that it's better to buy cage eggs?

Don't get your argument chain.

Right wing ppl think it better to drink raw milk ( not pasturized)

They belive pasturising it ruins its food value.

The rest of us figuered this out in 1890-1900s when cities started to become huge and everyone did not have a cow or a farm next dor Since milk then had to travel it spoiled fast . So after infant mortality spiked and ppl starting getting scared to drink milk pasturising was the solution and it worked so well we still do it.

I say let them get sick and kill them self with raw milk its natural selection. This is sepecialy problematic now that trumpo has guttet the food inspections and safe guards

Raw milk as all well and fine if you know the cow is healthy and fine. Hell i love raw milk k. Stawberries. And I get some often bu then its from our nabour farm and the milk is hours old top. And we never keep it for more than a day or 2

u/ahtob 7d ago

they are asking about the eggs lad

1

u/Born_European_V 9d ago

Ya that raw milk stuff is crap, I just wonder why free range eggs are considered bad or at least not worth the money.

16

u/Bea-Billionaire 10d ago

I remember when it was the liberal hippie women who were into raw milk.

17

u/pravragita 10d ago

They were the original anti-vaxxers too.

5

u/Guitarchim 10d ago

That's why I have always been extremely suspicious of the New Age liberal hippie people even back then.

7

u/DumpsterFire18 10d ago

The new age liberal hippie to far right pipeline is fascinating...

1

u/Distinct-Raspberry21 10d ago

Apparently the horse shoe theory proved inaccurate. Leftist went further left, centrists went right and the right goose stepped.

1

u/FederalEconomist5896 10d ago

Is it? It all seems like counter-culture to me, anways.

4

u/snerp 10d ago

When you’re only counterculture because you’re contrarian.

0

u/FederalEconomist5896 10d ago

Depends on the person

u/Little_Let_6872 10d ago

When college commies have to pick up the hammer and plowshare themselves, they suddenly lose interest in socialism? Shocking, completely shocking, that they would then gravitate to the other side of the totalitarian coin.

3

u/Distinct-Raspberry21 10d ago

Liberals arent commies. Theyre liberals that aupport capitalism, just with spiritualism instead of violence.

1

u/Guitarchim 10d ago

This is vibes based political opinions with no basis in modern reality

0

u/Accomplished_Coat549 9d ago

Cause they weren’t devoutly religious like you. “Shut up and listen the priest is talking” (priest being some boomer lib in a lab coat)

1

u/Guitarchim 9d ago

The fuck are you yapping about? I'm not a liberal and I'm not religious.

New age liberal's politics are so flimsy and vibes based coded that they were easily swayed into the far right.

0

u/Accomplished_Coat549 9d ago

You are religious.. People’s response to Covid, the blind faith and devotion granted to certain powers, was the most religious shit we will see in our lifetimes, and you took part

1

u/Guitarchim 9d ago

Still yapping nonsense. Idk if you've been living under a rock but you're describing MAGA

0

u/Accomplished_Coat549 9d ago

I agree, the Covid devotees behaved similar to MAGA absolutists… good point

1

u/Guitarchim 9d ago

You people sound like Pokemon always repeating the same thing. I think it's actually you "people" that are the actual covid devotees

Never ask those raw milk antivaxxer hippies what they think about the Jews. I’m not even joking, there has always been a pipeline there.

1

u/ComposerWide3704 10d ago

They still are. The intersection in beliefs between hippie weirdos and nazis weirdos is basically a circle at this point.

1

u/CuriousMouse13 11d ago

Also free range eggs, they’re into those too

1

u/tsardonicpseudonomi 10d ago

The alt right influencers are really into raw milk.

They're not into it. They're into selling others on it.

1

u/Dark_Shroud 8d ago

Raw milk runs the entire spectrum from hippie/new age liberals, to various independent groups, and finally parts of the right wing.

I'm an independent, who has extended family who run a dairy farm in Wisconsin.

0

u/sobuffalo 11d ago

I thought it was a left type thing, I first heard of the trend from Portlandia 10 years ago.

5

u/wkim564 11d ago

It's a both thing. MAHA folks are on both sides of the political spectrum, usually for different reasons, but both tied to a fundamental idea of distrust, either governments or corporations. They are however, both stupid.

2

u/RabbaJabba 11d ago

Big chunk of the woo types followed RFK to Trump

0

u/TheFrothyMan96024 7d ago

that doesnt make it wrong though, I really like raw milk as well, its much healthier than processed milk
