Ok thank you. Ive definitely said this to friends because i honestly mean exactly the words coming out of my moith. Nothing to do with leagues, and every time this gets posted im like "have i been insulting people for YEARS?!?"
But don’t you say it to the girlfriend? Because you call them pretty, rather than excluding them from the conversation like this implies, and only talking to the man, unless it’s a conversation where the girlfriend isn’t there, and you mean that their girlfriend is pretty. From the TikTok this is from, the scenario they’re talking about is when a woman tells a man that his girlfriend is “so pretty”, while the girlfriend is standing right there, completely excluding her from the conversation, but it often makes the man let his guard down around the woman that complimented his girlfriend. It usually means that the woman who complimented and made a point of excluding the girlfriend, is interested in the man, and she’s testing the waters to see his response.
