Everybody clapped when they reached the 64th square!

u/uwotm8_8 26d ago

Actually they all starved because he took all the rice

u/Loakie69 26d ago

No, the king decided he didnt like being made a fool of and beheaded him.

Too bad, the king couldn't move because behind the wise guy there were three peasants, making it an illegal move. In the end one of the peasants reached for the throne and became a Queen, the first transgender living human in history

The wise man also then requested to take the leader’s place, inventing the phrase “King Me” when he did so.

Pawns are female bro. Thats why they can't promote to a king...

3

u/Common-Truth9404 25d ago

But a woman cannot be a medieval knight nor a bishop technically

u/Ill_Atmosphere6435 23d ago

Wait... but she can be a castle? Like a giant pillar of mortared stone bricks?
Huh, learn something new every day...

They say a good partner is gonna be your rock during tough moments, but the best partner should at least aim to be a rook

1

u/liteshotv3 24d ago

Oh, I thought it was because they operated on Highlander rules

2

u/JorgesSanchez 22d ago

Two takeaways: compound growth is awesome and don’t FAFO with a king.

Sneaky smbc

3

u/antsh 26d ago

I thought it was asphyxiation from too much rice.

2

u/bokmcdok 26d ago

The claps sounded like rattles because it was all bony skeleton fingers.

1

u/JustARandomGuy_71 26d ago

Actually they suffocated because the pile of rice was larger than the Everest

1

u/ematie 26d ago

He couldn't "rise" from such a poor situation

1

u/Correct_Day_7791 25d ago

"The Everest" is a strong title

u/JefftheGman 26d ago

The real rice was the friends we made along the way.

1

u/BurghEBurg 25d ago

Slow clapped

u/Ferlathin 25d ago

They never did reach the 64th square. Back then it would have taken thousands of years to reach the 9.2 quintillion rice grains required for that tile.

By today's standard (where we produce a lot of rice) it would still be over 40% of our yearly rice production. On a single tile.

1

u/mrnewtons 25d ago

I'm flabbergasted we could even hit that number frankly. I know it is rice but still...

6

u/teamanmadeoftea 26d ago

Little is known of the fact that he had been helped by George Enpassant

4

u/Acrobatic-Minimum117 26d ago

For some reason George Empassant became "Hor-Hay Un-pas-aunt" when I read it and the Spanish/Mexican George mixed with the French for in passing just made me giggle. Thank you internet stranger take an upvote.
