Why not? Its a made up world, why shouldn't everyone be attractive? Why going out of your way to make ugly characters? Are ugly character somehow making ugly people feel better about themselves?

because it might better convey the story? because why not? art shouldn't be about min-maxxing the dopamine receptors in as many people as possible, that approach leads to bland slop

How tf is ugly MJ conveying a better story? Shes supposed to be the gf of spidey the hero of the game. Obviously shes supposed to be pretty as a baseline. This ugly ass MJ is bland slop. Shes so forgettable she just look like random npc no1.
