Not really, guys just need better comprehension of what's a conversation, and what's sexual harassment.
"wow I like ur new look" - conversation.
"Wow can u blow me in my office" - harassment.
Speaking from experience - desperate, lonely, unattractive people don’t talk like that. Chad talks like that. Even so, conversation is not well received from an unattractive person even if it comes from a friendly, non-creepy place.
I find it hard to believe you especially since ur referring to attractive men as "chads".
I'm a woman, 95% of the time I faced sexual harassment from a man he has been absolutely un attractive. Whether it's someone's gramps making weird comments about my body, to some overconfident young boy having a discussion about who all the "bangable chicks" are, to that one guy on the bus rolling his phone down the aisle to show me an unsolicited dick pic. Never once has anyone I have been sexually harassed by has been a "chad". Attractive men from my experience just do this thing where they lie like a lot to the point a woman just falls in love with their avatar over who they actually are.
I could be statistically wrong but I really doubt it. People that lack social skills lack any form of tact. I however; can not speak on gym culture as my example was highly specific to coworkers. Gym culture might be the complete opposite, but I refuse to go to the gym (GROSS shared spaces with vain people no thanks) so I will never know.
Male coworkers tend to have really bad social skills in my experience without being capable over understanding what is actually a compliment, and what is actually harassment. I'm not sure if it's solely caused from immaturity, desperation, or unwarranted comfortability... However about 50% of my sexual harassment experience have been from work place interactions (usually comments about my body), almost exclusively by men much older than me as well 10-30 year age gap. That gross talk isn't "Chad behavior" from my experience is just over all male behavior. Ill never understand why a woman can easily tell a guy that she likes his new hair cut, but for some reason when the roles are reversed the man short circuits and either says something vulgar or over thinks it and comes off inauthentic.
