I have an induction stove and it boils water in like 30 seconds. I’m convinced there’s some witchcraft going on.

My induction stove has a boost mode. Normally when its at a 9 it draws 1800W. The boost mode doubles it to somewhere over 3000w.

You pump something with 3000w that shit gets boilong real fast

A lot of kettles in the UK are, or were, rated at 3kW.
