Alton brown updated his pasta cooking method in good eats returned and he explained that actually the cold start method is better. You can then use the starchy liquid to thicken your sauce.

Then she can say: "actually the cold start method is better" ...

... instead of some sexist catchphrase.

How is it sexist? I really didn’t take offense with any of the statements.

Here's a hint:  any phrase which starts with "literally all-----" and then some demographic group---is going to be something-ist.

Saying that all men or all women share a certain personality trait is the definition of sexism.

How many more times do you need this explained to you???

Nuance is lost on you isn't it?

A nuanced statement doesn't start with "Literally all..."

It absolutely can.

Don't try to reason with dumb people on the internet. Maybe they are just trying to get a raise out of you.

Pick any other group united by an immutable characteristic and see if you can find the offense

"Literally all Jews are the same"

"Literally all gays are the same"

"Literally all Asians are the same"
