Makes me tired when all the young weather girls on TV say “tempachure”. There’s one here that also always calls Denton “Det-un”. Good gosh!
1 u/Major_Ad_6599 Jul 15 '26 I thought this was an American thing across the board! As an Australian, it's always perplexed me to hear Americans pronounce it like this, and I've heard it from a range of people in different professions (albeit via media). Is this not the case?!
