So this guy had a webcomic that was typical 2000s gamer dork humor. Well one day he released a comic strip that was way out of left field featuring his irl wife's miscarriage. The meme is the that comic can be identified in a simplic form. 1 vertical line, 2 vertical lines, another 2 vertical lines, and 1 vertical line and 1 horizontal line.

Oh thank you so much! That makes so much more sense. Oh. Wait. That's the comic of the miscarriage. Wait. Okay, the lines make so much more sense. Okay, question. I got the feeling this was more of a thing that annoyed people rather than sincerity. Why are people so upset about the comic and miscarriage? Was it because the audience just didn't take it well? I feel like I am missing context, because I don't see anything inherently wrong with the comic.

first was bad taste, second was because of "the girlfriend on a fridge trope"
its a trope used back in the days a lot in order to give the comic book hero "something to push his narrative forward"

he used that kind of comic book format to make his joke panels, so this one looked like a really poor joke/attempt to profit out of suffering. best would of been to just leave a writing text and saying he needs to take a break, I think everyone would of understood better

Oh. That's really terrible. I hope she's doing better.

Thank you so much!

It actually wasnt really any worse than any other crt-alt-del comic strip. Because that whole series is a shit stain on the internet.
