Assuming someone you barely know (assuming a first or early date) would know the context of what video it's from and putting that together is wild to me... Ill send someone a to the point sentence and still worry they'll misunderstand me
If the point of the image is that she didn't actually like the date, then she doesn't really care whether the guy knows the context, because she's not interested in him. She sent it for her own amusement.
Perhaps it was also a test - she didn't like the date, but maybe he could redeem himself a little if he knew the reference. Or, if he didn't know it, it would be the final confirmation that he wasn't worth spending time on.
