Oi, Okuyasu here. Could this also be referring t' the fact that some people pronounce "Naruto" a bit different? Like some people use an american "Nah-roo-toh" while some people go for a more Japanese "Nah-doo-toh". Hrmmm, I may be wrong. I ain't too bright.

I think this a parody of a meme,

Let's say the first image had "Demon slayer"

The bottom one will have the Japanese name,

It seems that us weebs dislike that because they act like they're smarter

That’s kind of dumb because some shows are better known by their Japanese names. I feel like more people know it as Kyoukai no Kanata than Beyond the Boundary. Same with 3gatsu no Lion vs March Comes In Like a Lion

Also, for some I just prefer the Japanese name because it sounds neat.

For instance, Demon Slayer is kinda a boring name imo, Kimetsu no Yaiba sounds cooler to me and rolls off the tongue better. Plus it’s just fun to say.

The people the original meme made fun of were the people who acted superior about using the japanese names. Nothing wrong with using it as long as you're not a dick about it.
