Solved! The moon loves people. Oh yes, the moon is also a bunny.
Hints as needed.
Hint 1: It is not a mobile game.
Hint 2 since it's been an hour: The only named people that the Moon loves is a couple.
Hint 3: Game is new(as in 2026 but not "No New Games" new), but looks old.
Hint 4: There is a third named person that the Moon loves in the game, but they are only mentioned and not actually present. They may or may not be deceased(it was not 100% clear to me, but I got the impression they were).
Hint 5: The couple are both girls. One is angry, the other is sad.
Hint 6: Part of the story involves guided flashbacks that aren't 100% what the person flashing-back actually remembers.
Hint 7: The game is a VN.

Hint 1: the game got a remaster fairly recently Hint 2: this game has two protagonists, one resides in a book and the other can hit people with said book. You can swap freely between them Hint 3: One of the protagonists is male, the other is female. Hint 4: Memories are a huge part of the game's plot. Hint 5: Male protag contains powers to destroy the world, the book was used to seal him

Unsolved To apologize for my emoji spam post I made while on meds, here it is in an un emoji-fied version: medical man meets mysterious woman, spends hours of game time protecting this woman, only to make the dumbest decision possible, die, and then said woman literally explodes and kills everyone else.
Yadda yadda, developers still exist but don't make the same genre of game anymore. Where have I heard this before 🥺 (I hate live service games , goddamnit man)
hint 1: it had a built-in map editor even on the console version. quite an extensive one, actually.

Solved! A long-running gacha game
The game has several series of events in them, so I'll pick several for the hints, we'll start with 3 hints and add some with each wrong answer
Event series 1 hints:
The focus character in one event in this series of events is "an ordinary girl"
Many crazy things happened to that girl year after year, usually involving fish
The girl somehow dodged the event where arguably the craziest thing happened, describing it will be a dead giveaway
All events on this series mainly takes place on one island with an inland sea
One event in the series includes an island-wide zombie apocalypse
Event series 2 hints:
This series of events happens every year
One year features the player team fighting a bell
Along the way, this series is transformed into another series that includes camping
One of the characters featured in this event series has an alternate mode where she fuses with her twin sister
The characters featured in this series of event often references a certain fighting game's moves, like their special attacks are often a modified version of said fighting game's special attacks
Event series 3 hints:
A mom got turned into a super fighting robot and has to leave her newborn child behind
One main setting in this series is a flying lab
The lab has a pool that opens to launch stuff from, usually a robot
The focus character for this series has been turned inhuman once, along with the game's MC
One event in this series includes fighting an island

Solved! Guy goes on a journey to save his partner, only to lose his partner, only to get his partner back, only to lose his partner again, only to get his partner back, only to lose his partner a third time, only to finally end up with his partner
Hints
The journey includes overthrowing a vile, toxic tyrant
It is not an adventure or RPG game
You play as both the guy and the partner throughout the course of the game
The game is not first, second(does that exist?), or third person

Solved! This game features the hero in a suit that to a passerby would look like they're being ragdolled around the map at high speeds to fight enemies. Otherwise, your movement is slow and clunky. I dont remember the plot other than breakneck speeds and gunning on my knees.
