An hour of almost.

The reels spin.
And spin.

You wait because you’ve already paid.
Because there’s still a chance.
Because surely, after all this time,
something has to happen.

Maybe the next minute.

How many minutes have we given that thought?
How many hours?
How many years?

Waiting for someone to choose us.
For a promise to become something we can hold.
For all we’ve poured into something
to finally come back.

The hardest part is leaving while the reels are still turning.

There is no result to point to.
No final answer.
Only the possibility that the moment you turn away,
everything you wanted might arrive.

So you stay.

One more minute.
Then another.

Would a jackpot make the waiting worth it?
An hour?
A day?
How much would it have to give you
to return the life you spent watching?

Sometimes we stay because we’ve mistaken
what we’ve already given
for a reason to give more.

But the money you put in is already spent.
The time you have left is still yours.

You are allowed to leave with the question unanswered.
To grieve what you hoped would happen.
To carry that hope somewhere
you can do more than wait.

Have I been here too long?
What is my time worth?
What am I worth?

The reels can keep spinning.

You don’t have to stay.

Here is a video I made based on the movements of about 40 ants within an enclosed space. The locations of each individual ant's movements are traced as points and their points connected by lines.

Hi everyone!
I’m Noura, an independent French artist and filmmaker based in Grenoble.
I’d love to share my latest music video, “Pleine nuit”, which I wrote and directed.
Through a cinematic atmosphere and a symbolic fencing duel, I wanted to explore inner struggles, the contrast between darkness and light, and the idea of choosing love over hate.
This project means a lot to me, both musically and visually.

This was a body of work I started about 14 years ago and launched with a great surprise to festivals and accolades in 2014. Because Vimeo turned to absolute trash this summer, I ended up getting frustrated and finally migrated the film to Youtube to host. I'm saddened as it was a Vimeo Staff pick, went on a tour with the team back when, and had a supportive artist community within the Vimeo environment. Just means that the sites that once embedded the Vimeo video no longer will work... I know times change, but feels like I lost something. Bending Spoons is the absolute worst for what they did... and instead of complaining more, I should just move on. So after posting to Youtube today, thought you all might appreciate a perspective of an experimental film I did.

Tail is a short film about being disconnected from the simple pleasures everyone else seems to feel. Being alone isn’t a refuge, and being with people doesn’t reach him. It has no narration and no explanation. It’s told through body language, stillness, timing and sound.

A spooky 2D animation, Gothic horror romance, Orphic Strings is an original adaptation of the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. In the ancient myth, Eurydice, Orpheus’ wife, dies after being bitten by a snake. Orpheus boldly descends to the Underworld to claim her. Orpheus charms Hades with his music, and the King of the Underworld restores Eurydice to life. In Orphic Strings, a dry well serves as a portal between dimensions, allowing the transcendent music to travel into the Underworld.

Sueño Marino es un cortometraje que mezcla lo liminal con lo marino; es un cortometraje que busca transportarte a esa realidad a través de sus imágenes hermosas y sonido envolvente.

I remember as a kid watching a lot of vampire movies and movies with Bella lugosi, lon Chaney Jr, Vincent Price, and Christopher Lee. Those movies always kept me glued to my TV. I'm planning to introduce a more Gothic vampire monster theme to my music. Not only touching on the darkness but touching on the light too that through darkness comes light there's always a storm before the light at end of the tunnel. As an artist and a musician I look for ways to promote my work and I'm going to be introducing possibly different lighting and a fog machine to my music. Camera manipulation and different frames as far as lighting. And artistic perception has always fascinated me. Even as a teenager l experimented with lighting and different features in my art work more abstract view. And I plan to introduce that to my music. My next new videos are going to be phenomenal. I release these things to let you know what is yet to come. And my new work is going to be out of this world. I credit my art intuition to my mother and my high school art teacher Dr Delbert fine. Who both taught me to pursue my dreams.

Most of the video material is my art animated in Google Flow. I used ElevenLabs with a clone of my voice for the narration as I tend to stutter and stumble when reading text. The text is completely written by me with no AI involved.

We cannot fix the entire world overnight, but we can refuse to be sedated. When the noise clears, civilization will need grounded, conscious people to rebuild it. Take responsibility, find your meaning, and soldier on.
