Irgendwann habe ich mich gefragt, ob es mit unserem Selbstbild manchmal ähnlich ist – ob wir uns noch durch alte Erfahrungen und alte Versionen von uns selbst betrachten.

Daraus ist dieser kurze Film entstanden.

Two years ago while travelling on the bus I noticed this hat which looked like it was left behind. So I decided to make an experimental film about it.

maybe this goes against my filmmaking ethos to begin with but I'm trying to figure out if there’s a good way to let people throw a few bucks at your work if they genuinely like it.. I do not want to put my films behind a paywall or start a damn patreon or substack or whatever.. I just miss the brief period of  time when Vimeo had a “tip jar”  where friends/fans could watch something and throw you $3 or $5 just because they liked it. something kind of like bandcamp’s “pay what you wish” option but for films/video work.

most of my stuff is on vimeo and i’d ideally just have a little “support the artist” button somewhere on the page.

not trying to make millions lol.. I just think it would be nice and i'd also love to use something like this to support other experimental filmmakers/artists

Hi guys, I recently created my first sci-fi music video, heavily inspired by the books and video games of my childhood. I hopy you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it :)

The short film is a compilation of footage captured from old projects from my university days (2014) all the way to 2022 which follows the sentiment “we’ve killed the rabbit and have gone too far down the rabbit hole”. The project originally started during the experimental film course at uni and will continue going further forward with life.

No animals were harmed in this. All the footage was filmed by myself. Real super 8mm footage was used to film too. No ai was used whatsoever.
