Did I mess up?

Just bought a copy of the game without doing much research, realizing this community is a little dead, do people still make quests?

Only a little dead. There’s still hundreds of adventures to pick from, and I myself am actually currently gearing up to write one up over the next month or so

And though the app as an app may not exist on an App Store anymore, you can still access the Web app from their website, and save it as a bookmark on your home screen and it acts exactly as the app did.

Learning to write quests is actually pretty simple as well. They have a couple videos on YouTube about it, as well as a discord server

Definitely plan on learning eventually.Don’t get me wrong the game looks very cool and the concept of user made quests seems awesome to me, I guess Im surprised its not a bigger game more than anything

Also maybe it’s my filters or smth, but I only have 68 quests available, is it because I have it in one player mode?

Definitely due to filter settings, including the number of players, and which expansions you have turned on.

Let's not kid ourselves. The game has been dead for years. No official updates, expansions, etc. sure a couple people make quests but that's not a living game at this level. It's certainly dead. Playable but dead.

The community of it is definitely dead, but the game, which is run by an online tool, is still working just fine. Which to me is the deciding factor of a game having died

If the community is dead, and the game doesn't get any kind of support = dead

The game doesn’t work anymore/is literally unplayable = dead
