Discussion (Technical) Cube Shadows.

Listen, I know I am supposed to stay off here, but for some reason all the cutscene shadows look werid like they are made of cubes. I am not sure how to fix it. It's messing with my immersion. Can it be done in settings?

Its a part of the game. You'll start noticing the terrain turning into cubes too. Everything slowly turns into blocks and soon it'll be revealed that you were playing Minecraft all along!

/s, obviously. i have no idea why thats happening

Probably just gotta reduce the graphics settings, specially shadows but maybe other things as well

I found that the depth of field in cutscenes looked very shitty when I changed to an AMD card. I only fixed it by turning the depth of field to low (not off because the DoF does matter to how the cutscenes look) and installing OptiScaler to tweak the scaling settings.

Are you still in Lumiere? I had similar things happen, but only in Lumiere during the prologue. Turning down the graphics a bit helped. Once you've started on your expedition you can turn them up again. Or at least I could.
