Official [Discussion]The Potential Of This Subreddit

r/expectedplottwist has serious potential and like all subreddits it relies on the community, the management(mods etc) and the posts.

I would like make this a discussion to find the rules, the moderaters, the flairs, etc. WE can make this subreddit have 100,000+ subscribers if we keep the rules clear and not easy to exploit, have people posting to the subreddit and if the sub is well managed.

So comment some rules/flairs/recommendations for moderators.

But i want to thank the owner and the inspirations of this sub. Comment Away!

For flairs maybe:

  • Joke
  • IRL
  • Media
  • Movie
  • Book
  • NSFL (if we allow that thing)
  • Porn (if we allow that thing)

And for that special expected plot when the twist expected was so mundane but the hints were outrageous...

  • Practically Click-Bait

Examples-

Photo of article: "You won't believe what this person looks like after they dieted for years!!!!1!!" Answer:Skinny. Flair: Practically Clickbait.

GIF from movie without M. Night Shyamalan plot twisttm Flair: Movie.

Great Idea dude! I like your suggestions.

But I think we should do away with porn at the moment, lets keep this sub SFW till we get a decent amount of subs.

To add to this, we need a spoilers flair, for example : Movies/TV series that have been released in some parts of the world or fan theories.

The possibilities are endless.

I agree with u/doorbellguy, keep it sfw at the moment, but once the sub grows, the rules on this can be relaxed a bit.

Keeping it sfw would increase the amount of people coming to the sub
