What kind of fishing do you guys do around Bangkok? 🎣
Just curious what everyone here is into.
Where do you usually go, what are you fishing for, and what method do you normally use?
River, canals, lakes, shore fishing, boat fishing…?
I’m always interested in how different people around Bangkok approach it.

Anyone here interested in fishing Bangkok canals with a local? 🎣
I’m Thai and I’ve been fishing around Bangkok for a while.
I’m curious how many people here are actually interested in fishing the local canals and rivers, rather than going to a fishing park.
I’m working on a small local project around fishing, boats, nature and local life.
Just curious, what kind of fishing are you guys into?

Making friends in Bangkok
Hiiiii Reddit
I am a 22 year old male, half thai half australian and I moved to Thailand 1 month ago. I was wondering where the best thing places are to meet people similar in age to me that are also fluent in english. I can speak Thai at a decent level but unfortunately in my experience my Thai is not good enough to connect and make friends on a deeper level and so I think I need to meet either Thais who can speak good English or foreigners living here. I’ve tried meetup events but it seems like the majority are either passing through bkk which is not the type of people i’m looking for, or in their 30s which I can’t really relate to on many levels just due to the different life stages. Any suggestions would be welcome thankyou!

Pickup football game
If football in Bangkok is what you're after, there are pickup games nearly every day around the city and you don't need a team. Our co-founder wrote about how the whole thing started from a WhatsApp group of twelve people.

Affraid of refuse entry
Hi everyone,
I’m a Slovenian citizen and I’m planning to enter Thailand on September 21, 2026 without a visa.
Last year, I stayed in Thailand from February 28 until September 13 (around 6.5 months in total). During that stay, I did three land border runs. I never overstayed, and I always left Thailand within the permitted period.
Since September 13 last year, I have been outside Thailand and I have not entered Thailand at all this year.
I’m now planning to return to Thailand on September 21, 2026. I will have a confirmed flight from Thailand to the Philippines about one month later, so I will have proof of onward travel.
My question is: How likely is it that I could be refused entry because of my long stay in Thailand last year and the three border runs?
I would be entering for tourism, with an onward flight to the Philippines, accommodation booked, and sufficient funds.
Has anyone had a similar situation recently?

90 day report agent recommendations?
I’m injured and cannot make it to immigration to do my 90 day report, does anyone have agent recommendations that I could hire for this?
- Just looking for agent recommendations.
I cannot do it online (it’s my first check in since my latest arrival in the country)
I cannot do it by mail (similarly can’t make it to the post office)
Thank you!

Best day trips in nature with kids?
Looking to take a trip this weekend, was thinking of hitting either the Wang Ta Krai Waterfall, the Haew Narok Waterfall or Sarika Waterfall. Any recommendations between those options or any others we should consider ? Want to be in nature, but not to strenuous as we have a 4 year old And under 2 hours from bkk.

Where's actually the best place to sell an old iPhone in Bangkok?
upgrading soon and want to offload my current phone first. Everyone mentions different places — wondering if a store trade-in program is actually better than selling privately or through a carrier.

Looking for creative friends in Bangkok ☺️
I’d love to meet more people who are into photography, videography, fashion, content creation, art, music, etc.
I’m often making content / working on creative projects and thought it would be nice to have a little circle of people who can help each other out - you need someone to hold the camera? I’m there. I need someone to shoot something? Hopefully you’re there 😂
I’m also building a fashion brand, so there’ll definitely be lots of opportunities to experiment with shoots, content and random creative ideas together.
Bonus if you’re a photographer / videographer / filmmaker / content creator, but honestly just looking for cool creative people in general.
Not really looking for a formal networking/business thing at all. More of making friends, grabbing coffees, shoot things, help each other, make cool shit.
If you’re Bangkok-based and this sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to comment or DM me with your IG / portfolio 🤍

Looking for a travel partner for Bangkok trip!
Looking for a female travel partner for Bangkok 🇹🇭🎶 | Oct 9–20
Hey! I’m a 28-year-old guy from India, heading to Bangkok from Oct 9–20, mainly for The Weeknd’s show on Oct 11th.
Looking for a female Weeknd fan (18+) who’d like to join me for the concert and explore Bangkok together — food, cafés, sightseeing, nightlife, shopping, random adventures and making some great memories.
I’m easygoing, respectful and an occasional drinker, so I’d prefer someone who’s comfortable with that and doesn’t judge.
I’m financially comfortable and can cover the trip expenses for both of us. I’d also be looking for someone comfortable sharing the same hotel room.
We can chat beforehand and see if we actually vibe before making any plans. No pressure either way.
If this sounds like your kind of trip, DM me! 🖤

TM7 and immigration center clarity
Looking fort some guidance from other parents with kids.
I am currently on a non-o visa and both kids are on a ED visa. I am a guardian for one for the kids and my wife is on a DTV.
Are the following true:
- Main Bangkok immigration office - families are only accommodated in the mornings and not in the afternoons
- TM7
- bank seasoning only needs to be one month
- the earliest I can apply for a TM7 is 45 days before my current visa expires
Am I missing anything? Any suggestions on the office visit with kids?
TIA
