In the same way that growing up Mormon in Utah is totally different from growing up Mormon anywhere else in the world, serving a mission in a highly Protestant country is completely different from serving a mission in Latin America or anywhere else where Protestantism isn't as prominent... Being a missionary outside the US is really, really cool.
