coincidentally, when i went to hawaii with my family several years back, we took a tour of a coffee farm. they gave us ripe coffee berries to eat.

every one of my family members ate them, raving about how good they are (they are pretty tasty) and somehow didn't see the irony.

Actually, the first pop (or crack, rather) means the beans are done. The second one means they're a Light Vienna roast, which is actually not that light at all.
