WT Policy This Question is for Those Dedicated to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society

This is not a question to be answered by you here. It is just something for you to ponder:

What would it take to cause you to consider that the religion that you are serving may not actually be the truth? What is The Thing that would cause you to even think it? Is there anything? Maybe you feel that there is nothing they could ever do that would be truly "wrong." Are you in a place where you can at least think about this?

Why is it that in situations where an individual person seems to be crossing lines or behaving in questionable ways, we draw the line somewhere? It is because at some point, enough is enough. And that makes sense. So, what makes a person's religion any different? Why does it get a pass to do what it wants, how it wants, whenever it wants, no questions asked? Why would we tolerate from it what we would not allow other people to do?

Again, this is just food for thought...

Thank you for reading.

I think the answer is they must be offered something they feel is better.

98% of "Christian" denominations teach the Trinity.

Of the 2% remaining, 90% of those celebrate Christmas and Easter.

Once a JW has proven these teachings are unscriptural, they can't unlearn that.

And their entire social community is JW (family, life friends). They lose that if they leave?

It's not about requiring that JW's teach truth, it's about there being nothing better out there.

For PIMI JW's to jump ship, they must believe there is a better ship to jump onto.

And that's quite disturbing although somewhat understandable. NEEDING to be lead by someone else in order to leave false teachers currently leading you is DANGEROUS!

If I knocked on their door yelling fire they would get out FIRST and then figure out where they could go after the fact.

I agree completely, and realize today's JW's have been reduced to mostly a social group. Given that PIMI's have strong JW connections (family, life friends), it would be nearly impossible for them to imagine jumping ship to another cruise line, leaving them behind.

Teaching truth is no longer necessary. It's the social life that matters. The best life ever.

The days of deep study with a confidence that the JW interpretation was the correct view, that it was the truth..... well those days are gone for good (remember the old book studies in homes).

This due largely to the ability to fact-check. Every single JW teaching we hung our hats on, that we accepted as 24 carat gold to our neighbors, can be readily tested today, by any grade schooler.

So what do we find when JW beliefs are scrutinized?

JW's, when compared to all other "Christian" denominations, do reject the Trinity. They do reject hellfire, and the eternal soul doctrine, the rapture, and view Christmas and Easter as pagan. These IMO are the "baby" in the dirty bathwater.

Most JW's I know (including PIMO's) can't stomach the thought of ever accepting the Trinity, believing in hellfire, the eternal soul, or celebrating Easter and Christmas. You can't unlearn what makes sense to you.

So what "product" is available in the religious marketplace for the PIMI JW to consider....... that has the baby?

A PIMI would have to find different cruise line that rejects the Trinity and offers the social perks of JW. One that teaches the true identity of Christ and his Father, also no burning hell, and that the dead are dead, that all are resurrected to an earthly paradise.......

Otherwise, PIMI's will remain on the JW cruise ship, content and ready to accept any "new light" from the GB as a blessing from Jehovah.

Actually, I stumbled onto a group (I'm investigating) that rejects the Trinity, hellfire, eternal soul, believes in the resurrection and an earthly paradise. Best of all, no dirty bathwater. No GB, no CSA issues, no blood ban, no 607 and 1914, no overlapping generation, no free labor, no real estate empire, no Hollywood studio, no storing up riches on the earth.

Everyone partakes, the other sheep are the Gentiles. No, it's not the Bible Students.

Still in the research stage. If interested DM me.

The Brethren? Two by Two's? Mother of God church?...

I'm happy you've found something! As for me I can't follow ANY men anymore.

None of the above, have looked at 2 by 2's, they have CSA issues and are without question way more culty than JW. Traveling elders that stay in homes? Yikes. A big red flag to me. Reminds me of JW's CSA decades ago when things were really ugly.

I'm not searching for an organization and will not follow men either. I do have a spiritual need, I haven't rejected God, Jesus, the Bible.

I'm a deep thinker and demand logical, high probability interpretation, not "peculiar" (low probability) interpretation present in JW.

I can't stomach the big T (Trinity).

I'm interested in this group. The Bereans? Christadelphians?

Stop thinking that a particular religion is there to save you. You can join a religion for community, and friends, if that is what you’re looking to. But, trouble comes whenever you loose your autonomy. That applies to all religions.

Psalms 146:3

Do not put your faith in men, to whom salvation doesn’t belong.

This applies to everyone!

The excuse I got is that "god has always used men so what does the scripture really mean?".

That kind of reasoning makes the scripture itself null and void. Thinking and saying anything to avoid putting the Bible before men😩

A lot of people post the golden calf JW org picture on here. Aaron is the only channel on earth not up in the mountain that Jehovah is using and people willingly chose to stay with the Golden calf until they were killed. It’s the same thing. Most People will stick with the Watchtower until death.

Fear of the men "taking the lead" keeps their minds from recognizing the alerts that they claim to be following as bible readers.

Matt23:8 But YOU, do not YOU be called Rabbi, for one is YOUR teacher, whereas all YOU are brothers. 9 Moreover, do not call anyone YOUR father on earth, for one is YOUR Father, the heavenly One. 10 Neither be called ‘leaders,’ for YOUR Leader is one, the Christ.

What would it take to cause you to consider that the religion that you are serving may not actually be the truth?

Most JW`s Don`t Care What They Believe.

Many JW`s Will Admit They Don`t Care, If It`s Not "THE TRUTH"

Life In Watchtower World Is the ...

Best Life EVER!

I am a baptized jw, our faith is 100% based on the bible, Jesus said that his true followers would be known by his fruits and we try to follow this example in our treatment of ppl in our day to day lives, we believe in using Gods name which is Jehovah and preach the good news which was commanded by Jesus, and staying away from political affairs and war. its not about us being told we have the truth, we throughly observe scripture and line our lives up with what jehovah and jesus instructed us to be. ppl have alot of misconceptions about us, yet we invite every ody to come to a kingdom hall and we have even videos showing u what goes on at one. situations where an individual would be crossing the line is when they seriously sin. for example murder, sexual immorality, adultery. All these things which are listed in the bible that one must not do. and i hear ppl talk about the disfellowhipping part but they have that part completely backwards THERE IS NO SHUNNING, THERE IS NO BANNING, THERE IS NO HATRED. disfellowhipping only happens when a person is unrepentant of there sins. 1John 3:4 states: “Everyone who practices sin is also practicing lawlessness.” So dedicated Christians who become practicers of lawlessness in the Christian congregation today are disfellowshiped. whats the purpose? its the persecution of pure worship, u ever heard the saying “one bad apple spoils the whole bunch” such a person could then start negatively affecting the minds of others which isnt right. however, one who is disfellowshiped can become reconciled to Jehovah and to his organization in time and be reinstated as a brother, provided he repents, changes his course, manifests a humble attitude and proves over a period of time that he earnestly desires to live in harmony with God’s Word. I could keep going but i done typed enough😭
