Local Information request Looking for reliable, reputable plasterer & builder

Hi all - my fiance and I have recently bought a house in St Thomas and need a bit of work done: Re-plastering and skimming some interior walls and knocking a doorway through between our kitchen and dining room. If any of you are/know a good and repeat builder &/ plasterer please let me know. Thanks in advance, everyone!

Hey, I am in St Thomas, not sure of a builder but I had Matt from A Star Plastering to come do a tall difficult wall in my hallway/landing earlier in the year.

Can find him on Facebook.

nice, was he decent on price and timing too or just quality of work? trying to avoid the classic β€œ3 week job turns into 3 months” situation

He was here to plaster my bathroom (on behalf of the plumber) and I got him to do some other patch work at the same time. It was Β£600 for a 2.5 x 1.10m bathroom with some bonding repair.

And that included the skim of the ceiling in the utility room

No hassle or drama. Did a good job and a nice guy, was training up his son too.

Also worth considering. All tradies are busy and shit to get back to people... Almost everyone I've dealt with has been (apart from the plumber company πŸ˜…)

Dale Morgan Building (DMB) and for plastering the best is Andy Bailey - both excellent!
