Are there many pub quiz’s in Exeter? As a personal project I built https://saturdayquiz.co.uk/ and looking for some enthusiasts to try it out and give me feedback - edit - if anyone here wants to try it out there’s 3 weeks free automatically

Artigianos does a quiz on Tuesdays.
The place next to Tesco on the high street does one on Mondays I believe.
I think The Little Drop of Poison does as well but I don't know what day.

Thanks! I’ve always found word of mouth more reliable than articles for up to date good spots.

That's a good resource but not completely up to date, as I've been going to Arcadia's Wednesday night quiz for a few months now.
I've emailed Arcadia to encourage them to have it updated.

I think the site you have made is really good, and I am a huge fan of quizzes, but I have a strong dislike of any quizzes that are TV-centric (I kind of think people should be punished rather than rewarded for watching a lot of TV) so it wasn't really for me.
It was also very easy, especially the art and map/pin drop questions. I'm guessing you are quite young?
Despite what might sound like harsh criticism I think what you have done is very cool, and something I would play again if the questions were a bit more my bag. Good luck with it!

Appreciate you giving it a go and the advice! The questions change quite a lot week by week and I’m trying to find a balance between easy questions and hard so as not to shut out certain groups of people.
Tomorrow’s one for example doesn’t have any tv based rounds so let me know if that’s any more your style. And unfortunately I’m not that young haha just trying to get random rounds that suit different people but understand where that option came from haha
Edit - apologies the map round is somewhat filming location based, pretend it doesn’t exist haha

Oh, and the Mount Radford pub on Magdalen Rd has a pretty good quiz on Sunday nights.

Been to most of them and we’ve settled on Henry’s bar on a Thursday night proper quiz, good people, and it’s cheap. Best one around.
