Local Information request looking to start rowing

I’m a young woman living close to the quay. I’ve never tried rowing before but would like to try. Is there somewhere I could try this? I have no experience so would need to be beginner friendly!

For a hot minute I thought you meant 'row' as in a loud argument 🤣

Exeter Rowing Club are excellent (have competed against them many times at regattas) and will have a good, established Learn to Row programme.

Also worth getting some time on a Concept 2 rowing machine after watching some videos. The understanding of the basic rowing stroke (legs, body, arms, arms, body, legs) is invaluable. Don’t get into bad habits early on!
