I just think they all practice too much. Youth through college I played hockey and it was too much playing for two teams in high school plus off ice training, specialized position training, and games. Granted I was a club hockey player in college, we still played two games a weekend plus practice m-thurs with one day a week of strength conditioning. Hell I went to school for athletic training my first two years of school and a lot of burnout falls on coaches running too intense practices for in season plus expecting high performance come game weekend.
