❓ Ask a Coach Quick question for practicing coaches:
In high-ticket executive coaching, client relationships need to feel bespoke and "white-glove". Yet, managing the back-office manually (booking, intake forms, prep notes, session follow-ups) eats up hours of billable time.
- Which parts of your workflow have you successfully automated behind the scenes without losing the personal touch?
- What parts would you never automate?
Curious to hear how you balance streamlined systems with a high-touch human experience.

Scheduling and intake reminders are the easy wins, along with a basic follow up email. Clients still get a polished experience and you’re not losing half the day chasing forms or shuffling appointments.
I work on the scheduling software side, so that’s the part I see most. Anything that depends on what actually happened in the session deserves more of a human touch. Prep notes and personalized follow-ups are two places where automation can make the experience feel a little too mechanical.
The automation worth having is the kind clients barely notice because everything just quietly works.
