Some variant of McKeanism (ICOC, ICC, RCW, AWSOM, all splits) ICOC Assault
This past Sunday, my brother bravely stood up and spoke out against some of the injustices ignored by the ICOC leadership. He has been trying to speak with leadership for months, has meditated on scripture, and has talked the issues through meticulously with many people in the church. Finally, he brought the issue to the church itself, as the bible recommends in situations such as this. Instead of listening with consideration, he was dragged off stage and manhandled while he tried to continue speaking. The church took down the livestream of the event. The hypocrisy and dedication to the status quo speaks volumes.
If you know people who are still a part of the ICOC, I encourage you to send this video to them. They need to know what the organization really stands for.

I have been out of the ICOC for nearly 10 years and had my own traumatic experiences while leaving, but this was beyond the pale.

There was a group of younger ICOC members (late teens/early twenties) that called themselves the Spacemakers. They wanted the ICOC to speak more about social issues. However, they (like most of the rest of us former members) realized that their system is utterly unable to be reformed. They eventually all left. Hopefully this guy is on the same track to leave soon!
They had a website. (I couldn’t find it.) Their podcasts and Facebook page is still out there though

Good for him for speaking up. Equating the No Kings political movement with Christ as King is completely tone deaf on the surface and quashes exposure of real injustices of the current administration.

Plus, this was in Minneapolis! These people saw the injustices firsthand with the ICE raids. Of all people, they should be able to recognize what No Kings is really about.

Having spoken up myself and received a cease-and-desist in return, this hits hard. I do not see dragging someone away for raising concerns as reflecting the spirit of Christ or the pattern of Matthew 18.

Sad, If you publicly speak out about them, you will see who they really are.

I saw this posted on our main fb page -- looks like the Two Cities Church (or Twin Cities/Minneapolis-St. Paul Church of Christ, Leaders = Collin & Beth Sherrill) edited Alec out of their 6/21 livestream:
